10 PRODUCT NEWS Take stock with our new food and drink round-up @specialityfood Nostalgic newflavour from Fairfields Farm Artisan crisp maker, Fairfields Farm, has added to its award-winning line-up with an exciting new flavour, in response to consumer demand. The Prawn Cocktail variety taps into a growing desire from shoppers for nostalgic, traditional flavours. Suitable for vegans, and made using potatoes from the family farm in North Essex, the crisps are dusted with a carefully selected range of seasonings including tangy vinegar and sweet tomato for a piquant, but creamy and savoury finish. Co-founder, Robert Strathern, has been rooting for the new addition for some time, and says he is thrilled to finally bring one of his favourite flavours to life. “Consumers are craving the flavours of yesteryear, so we decided that now was the ideal time to launch another much- loved classic,” he explains. “Conforming to our promise of meat and dairy-free crisps, the recipe development team has really pulled it out of the bag. Prawn Cocktail is a personal favourite of mine and I’ve always had it in my head to launch this flavour, so I’m delighted that the idea has come to fruition.” Both 40g and 150g formats are available. fairfieldsfarmcrisps.co.uk Corn snacking brand launches new flavour Love Corn has added to its ever-growing, popular range of crunchy snacking corn with a new flavour – Sour Cream & Chive . The sauces contain no added sugar, relying on the natural sweetness of sun-ripened tomatoes.
