The seeds of the business grew fromhumble beginnings, when Joshua converted an old fridge into a smoker and tested brining solutions for optimum taste and texture. Since then, the business has gone from strength to strength – no doubt aided by its passion for using supreme quality salmon, produced sustainably. This salmon is hand sliced like a loaf of bread, into thick, long decadent slices with clear marbling and a buttery sweetness. These satisfying slices showcase the premium flavour and texture of the salmon. The Salt & Smoke team is now three-strong, but Joshua still builds the smokers himself and is excited to build a wider-reaching future for the business by gaining SALSA accreditation.
